The Pocono Medical Center Federal Credit Union's field of membership is open to all colleagues who work within the LVH-Pocono Medical Center, as well as volunteers, physicians, LVPG-Pocono Physicians and office staff including all family members.
All new employees are eligible to join the Credit Union after their first pay-period is completed with LVH-Pocono Just stop by the office or send an email firstname.lastname@example.org for any further questions.
Ready to become a member? To comply with the USA Patriot Act, we are required to verify identity of individuals. Therefore, we require a valid driver's license or state identification card with current address to open and account and a minimum of $10.00 (cash or check) to open a membership account.
Family members are also eligible to become members. Start your children in the right financial direction and open a savings account in their own name or in a trust account.
After 3 months of membership, members are eligible to apply for loans.
"Once a member, always a member". If you are no longer employed by LVH-Pocono, you do not need to close your account. If you transfer to another LVHN Site, you are still eligible to continue your payroll deduction with PMC Federal Credit Union. Members need to make one transaction a year, which may include a deposit or withdrawal, to maintain a current status and avoid a dormant account fee. After 3 year of dormancy, PA Department of Treasury requires PMC Federal Credit Union to close the account and send the remaining funds minus appropriate Escheat fees to the Department of Unclaimed Funds. To avoid this happening to your account, contact the office to complete a transaction and set your account to a current status.
